DCOIT (dichloro-octyl isothiazolone) is an organic compound used in flexible PVC applications. DCOIT is thermally stable for use in flexible PVC processing where it provides effective fungal control. Products are available to the plastics market as 4% and 12% liquid concentrates or as a 10% pelletized concentrate.
