TroyCare™ to Exhibit at In-Cosmetics Brasil 2015

Monday, September 21, 2015 - Florham Park, NJ – Formulators searching for tomorrow’s solutions to preservation challenges should visit the TroyCare™ exhibit at Stand G79, In-Cosmetics Brasil from September 30-October 1, 2015. TroyCare™ FE-Series Customized Preservative Blends

“Choosing the right preservative system is one of the most important and challenging responsibilities of the personal care formulating chemist,” says David Koehl, Global Business Manager – Home & Personal Care for Troy Corporation. “Formulators understand the performance advantages of broad-spectrum preservative blends, but historically have had limited options from suppliers offering only one blend ratio. The result is poor cost performance.” To address this market need, Troy will be showcasing the TroyCare™ FE-series of customized broad-spectrum preservative blends developed specifically for personal care and cosmetics applications. “No longer do personal care formulators have to pay for extra bactericide or extra fungicide,” continues Koehl. “With the FE-Series of preservatives, formulators can now select a customized broad-spectrum blend with the optimum levels of bactericide and fungicide for their formulations, yielding the lowest total preservative cost.”

The TroyCare™ FE broad-spectrum preservative blends contain Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (IPBC) in Phenoxyethanol. Three different blend ratios are offered:

• TroyCare™ FE003 with 0.3% IPBC

• TroyCare™ FE01 with 1.0% IPBC

• TroyCare™ FE02 with 2.0% IPBC

Supplied in an easy-to-use liquid form, TroyCare™ FE preservatives provide superior antibacterial and antifungal performance and have excellent safety profiles, as well as global regulatory approval.
